I couldn’t be happier with the job done by Smart Home Audio Visual, headed by Layton Judd.

Our project, in a new house under construction, involved a dedicated home theatre, house-wide audio distribution and wall-mounted TV/speaker set-up, with the theatre housing all the source equipment.

Layton was there from start to finish - from the planning and pre-wiring stage to the final fit-out and set-up.

Naturally a project like this posed some interesting technical challenges but Layton to his credit was always able to spot any potential hiccups and fix them immediately. In fact, one of the things that most impressed me was his understanding of technical  issues and his ability to see past any problem.

As well, his product knowledge, experience and skill in finetuning AV equipment from any manufacturer is outstanding and something to behold.

But this technical ability would be nothing without the excellent communication skills Layton has. Over many months we developed a great working relationship and he was always open to our ideas, understood our wants and needs and realised we were working within a budget.

Not having done a project like this before, it’s hard to know who to do the work. Fortunately, Layton, who also happens to be a super nice guy, came highly recommended and as the project evolved I was very reassured to hear more and more good things about him.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Smart Home Audio Visual and Layton Judd to anyone planning either a basic AV set-up to something much more complex. In fact, I have no doubt we be repeat customers.

When you take on a project like this you want someone who has the skill, professionalism and ability to do the job the way you want it done and to make it a fun, hassle-free experience.

Layton was able to not only make our home theatre dreams come true – he exceeded our expectations and that is surely the best recommendation any one can give.
